Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Daizy ("Daizy", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit trydaizy.com or use the Daizy inventory management application (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

Daizy provides inventory management software for factories, warehouses, and small businesses. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us at hello@trydaizy.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Your name, email address, organization name, and password (stored only as a salted hash). If you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive the basic profile that provider shares.
  • Inventory data you create. Items, locations, stock balances, movements, purchases, sales, contacts, labels, and any files or photos you upload. This data belongs to you and your organization.
  • Billing information. Plan and subscription status. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage and device data. Pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and diagnostic logs. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Communications. Messages you send us, including support requests and feedback.

How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain the Service, process subscriptions, synchronize inventory across your team's devices, send transactional email such as invitations and receipts, respond to support requests, detect and prevent abuse, and understand aggregate product usage. We do not sell your personal information.

Where required by law, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service; your consent where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations.

Sharing and processors

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed to do so. These currently include cloud hosting and storage providers, Stripe for payments, PostHog for product analytics, and an email delivery provider for transactional messages. These providers are bound by contracts limiting their use of your data. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Daizy, our customers, or the public. If we are involved in a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against fraud. We also use product analytics to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in.

Data retention

We keep your account and inventory data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Backups are rotated on a regular schedule.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, per-organization data isolation, and security headers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We and our processors may store and process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for those transfers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can often exercise these directly in the application, or by emailing hello@trydaizy.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the application.
